A Mirror
What it can teach us
1 min readAug 29, 2019
A mirror doesn’t choose
It has nothing to lose
Not one to hoard reflections
Or suggest corrections
A simple mandate
Always a blank slate
Facing without fear
Whatever comes near
Thousands of faces
Leave no traces
Adulation or scorn
Nothing’s ever worn
As if a living master
With every answer
A mirror’s always true
Never old, always new
