The mind gets a voice

By offering choice

It dangling like bait

Dictating even fate

The mind’s voice

A bitter-sweet noise

Thought, some mumble

Others, an ensemble

It’s an invisible wall

Thoughts’ silent bawl

The mind share its ears

We host its tears

The mind grows silent

When there’s guidance

Not from its bookshelf

But from awareness itself
