The Moment

The moment is the true temple

It is where the silent assemble

They bring along nothing

For the truth of the temple is everything

When the moment appears to come and go

It’s a falsity, awareness hitting a low

There’s no light and joy in that dark valley

In the temple, they’re found, not by those who dally

The moment is where the spirit dines

There’s an invite when we learn to read the signs

Starving for joy, we beg life for a feast

Forgetting the temple from where it’s leased

The moment will exist forever

Even if the mind says never

By entering the debate, the door will close

To the temple, not to time which brings remorse
