There is a daily migration

Thoughts don’t suffer stagnation

Every day, there’s a fresh wave

Receding into a growing cave

Thoughts have the same vigor

As waves washing ashore

Friction from the pull and push

The mind becomes a burning bush

Thoughts stay young, watching us age

As we wither, they fatten our cage

We go deep, into the only world we know

Time teases us, pretending to go slow

Thoughts will never stop and retire

The same ones come in different attire

Nothing’s stopping us, stepping back

Thoughts are free, without our feedback
