Where do we go from here?
We’re wedded to this sphere
What’s beyond is hard to reach
Invisible barriers, we can’t breach
We were good at the beginning
Innocent, and far from cunning
Unfortunately, there isn’t a trail
We left ourselves, as we set sail
Into the wild, world of the mind
Where we’re now confined
So many factions abound
We’ve fallen asleep in that ground
Many have come to awaken
We say, the mind can’t be forsaken
A known home, in this lifetime
It’s become a veritable lifeline
In the mind, we recuperate
From wounds, time helps evaporate
Order is restored, only to be disturbed
By bigger waves that can’t be curbed
In ceaseless cycles, we are bound
There, all share a common ground
Everyone’s left to their battles
Secluded in self-made castles
